What is an Interclub?

​

Quite simply put an inter club is a friendly competition between 2 to 3 clubs.  We like to think of it as a dress rehearsal.  It is a great way to get those niggly nerves out, see how the girls go out on the floor with an audience and to run through the work with some other clubs.  Generally this is held July/August.

What is Champion Girl/Lady?

This is an individual competition. Girls of the same age and grade are put into heats where they showcase their work and are judged on marching, positions, presentation, pointed toes etc. Girls/Ladies are selected to make the grand final for each section and age group to compete for the title of Champion Girl/Lady at Grand Final.  This competition is held in September.

We encourage our members to go out on the floor and do their best, but most of all to have fun.

What is Teams?

Teams is a great competition.  It shows dedication, teamwork, building close friendships and relying on one another. You are judged on your work in a team formation, timing and presentation.   You compete as a club against the other clubs for a place.

Teams and Champion Girl/Lady are held on the same day.

What is Grand Final?

Grand Final is THE biggest competition of the year where the selected competitors from Champion Girl/Lady compete for the title Champion Girl/Lady in their age group and section.  There are 4 places in each section.  This competition is held late October/early November.

What is Club Comp?

Club Comp (competition) is a competition for our club only.  It is the perfect opportunity for each member to showcase their physie routine for family and friends.  Club Presentation follows after Club Comp placings.
